Interior

This 3 bedroom cottage features a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, and a large livingroom. With two queen size beds and 2 twin beds, as well as a couch, you can comfortably sleep up to 7 people.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the standard silverware / dishes / appliances, and includes a kitchen table with lake views for your meals. There is a large fridge, oven, coffee maker, and microwave available for your use, as well as some basic pantry supplies (cooking oil, salt, pepper, etc)

At nearly 1,200 square feet, you have plenty of room for your family to enjoy indoor activities if mother nature and weather conspire against you. There is a TV with cable available, as well as wireless internet (though this can be inconsistent and slow at times, so please bear that in mind!).

As a stand alone unit located on the extreme South side of the complex, you won't have any issues with noise from neighbors above, below, or beside you.

The unit also comes equipped with a washer/dryer combination unit, in one of the bedrooms.

Exterior

The cottage is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp to the front door right by the parking out front.

It features two private decks, on the beach, facing the lake.One is off of the main bedroom, and one is off the living room. Just beyond the decks lies a separate deck with a fire pit and a porch swing. Please note that the deck with the fire pit is not private, however - it is one of 4 total shared fire pits and decks that are available to all guests and owners in the Surfside complex.

There are two parking spaces located just outside the front door, with additional parking available just across the driveway from the unit.

The complex features approximately 500' of sandy beach on lake Huron, with a gentle slope, allowing fun and save swimming opportunities for the entire family. On the north side of the beach there is a volley ball net.

Further north, just past the neighboring "Surfside Heights"complex, you will find a beautiful public park, featuring boardwalks, beaches, picnic tables, charcoal grills, and a paved walking/bike path running between the trees and the beach. If you keep a good look out, you may even spot strawberries, wintergreen, and edible beach peas growing along the path!

The Surfside complex also features many large interior green spaces, if you wish to get away from the sand and wind of the beach. There is a play structure for children, and open spaces for lawn chairs for you to enjoy shade under many mature oak and evergreen trees.
